William H. (Herman) T. (Theodore) Dau (1864-1944), pastor Memphis, Tenn., served as president of Valparaiso University and of Concordia College, Conover, North Carolina, and as professor at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. He edited The Lutheran Witness and The Theological Quarterly.
